(e) All of the Above

A quick blog update, since Lamont was whining to me earlier today that I hadn't posted in a while. (And we all know how good Lamont is about frequently updating his blog. Oh wait, Lamont is too lazy to even have a blog...)

Anyway, here's your quiz for the day:

You know a major Christian holiday is being celebrated at the Lane homestead when:

(a) Family gathers.

(b) Prayers are said.

(c) Presents are exchanged.

(d) Someone vomits.

Yep, I've got not one but two sick kids. Jak-El definitely has strep and Dan-El has some sort of stomach bug and possibly strep as well (we're waiting for test results).

Ooooh.....will I get strep this time? Will the Husband? It's all sooooooo exciting.

But, Easter was fun. Pictures TK when I can get around to uploading them.

Don't worry about the pictures of the vomit...no, really, we can use our imaginations.

Sorry to hear about holiday illness...blah! You know this means you get a second Easter when everyone's feeling better, right? No, really, check the rules.

Deepest condolences at this ultra non-hippity-hoppity time. Cake is absolutely correct; you get Easter do-overs.

Here are my tips:
1) Check children's mouths for traces of bark, berries, and odd flora.
2) Feed them rice cooked in broth.
3) Make sure that Hector is available to translate their "papers."
4) Consider putting "satellite dishes" on them--not because they will try to bite out their sutures, as pets do, but because you undoubtedly need a laugh.

Sending ultra good vibes to you. I hope they get better soon and that you dodge the bullet of strep.

Hmm. Lately, some of the bloggers have been sick, their kids have been sick, their pets have been sick...!

What a bunch of sickos! This is ridiculous!

I mean, what would The Beatles sing if they were sick? Answer: NOTHING! They couldn't sing because they'd all have sore throats, caught -- no doubt -- by exposure to all you sickos!

Clean up your acts, people! Everybody get better, right now! No exceptions.

I'll be expecting healthy updates from one and all. (Even Canadians and Brits. Don't even think that living somewhere other than the USA puts you outside my jurisdiction.)

I'd write more, but I'm not feeling well. Think I'm coming down with something...

Best Beatles Re-titling of the Day (well, as far as I'm concerned, anyway):

"I Wanna Hold You Hair Back" by Lois Lane

Very close runner-up: "You're Going to Lose That Lunch" by Puke Salad Annie

I do NOT whine. I petulantly encourage.

How's the Lois household feeling, anyways? Did you dodge the bullet of strep?

Hiya Cake!
Yeah, everyone is on the mend, thanks. Today was the first day in a week both the kids went to school, so I was actually able to get work done. Dan-El officially doesn't have strep, Jak-El is feeling better and it looks like the husband and I will survive this one.

Non-vomiting Easter photos to come tomorrow, unless I'm too lazy to upload them.
