HA! I remember seeing those kinds of story ads vividly--when a character pops out in the last frame, waving the product (well, of course, none of the ones I saw had, uh, Richard Nixon, y'know, well...)
Anyhoo! BLUEBERRY hostess pie--always my favorite. Apple's the classic, but blueberry is my homeboy. I know someone whose favorite is lemon. I consider that person to be a very odd cat...a very special breed of odd cat.
One of the kid's friends is allergic to lemon...is that weird? I've never heard of anyone being allergic to lemon before.
I just hope the poor kid isn't allergic to pie too. That would be very sad.
Oh, and Blueberry Hostess Pies ROCK!
Must have Blueberry Hostess Pie STAT!
(Being allergic to lemon really is kinda weird...being allergic to pie should qualify you for disability and a monthly guv'mint check...)
Or maybe a Make A Wish wish or something!
Apparently tomorrow is Pi Day...I hope you all have your crusts ready!
