Oh Cake, that's great. Thanks. I miss Doctor Who. I have to pony up and buy the DVDs. Am going to be very, very peeved with Sci-Fi if they don't start showing the next series of Who very soon.
And NoOprah, here's a link to Mahna Mahna on YouTube.
One night while I was giving Jak-El a bath (yes, NoOprah, *everything* in my house happens in the bathroom...), I muttered "mahna mahna" under my breath--I have no idea why. Jak-El suddenly responded "doo-doo, de doo-doo!.
I was so proud. :-) I had no idea he even knew the song.

Do you have the non-vampire version, too?
No. Just this one. :-)
And I can't believe no one gave the correct response to the title of this post.
I'm very, very, very disappointed in all of you.
Doo-doo, de doo-doo.

Thank you. My shaky faith in humanity is restored.
Mahna mahna.
Doo-doo, de doo-doo.
Sorry about that...I'm hanging my head in shame.
S'okay. I blame the heat. And republicans--they're always a good scapegoat.
Mahna Mahna.
Democrats are a much better scapegoat but they're just not elected enough to be relevant.
I have no idea what Mahna Mahna means. Something about Bush no doubt.
You might find this funny, Lois:

(Sorry for the TinyUrl but Blogger is useless for posting links...this is a YouTube thing combining Doctor Who/Monty Python.)

I shouldn't have expected you to know the reference, what with being so old and all. So what was it like being a teenager during WWII?
Oh, I bet he has some great stories about being a young child during the Depression.
Did you have to wear newspapers on your feet and walk 10 miles through the snow to get to school, NoOprah?
(The Mahna Mahna YouTube cracked me up...I haven't seen that in YEARS! Total flashback.)

So a young child got the correct response on the first try and the rest of us needed prompting.
Now I'm really embarrassed!
Because of the weight gain?
Yes, because of the weight gain. How did you know?!
Everybody knows.
Those 20 teensy weensy pounds are THAT obvious?
Damn.
