And Now I Am Wicked Smaht

Last week was very educational. For example, I learned that:

1. I am famous in Wyoming.

2. This is a really excellent recipe.

3. According to Jak-El, the Eagles will win the Super Bowl. The score will be 60. Obviously, this is going to be a stunning upset. Place your bets now and become rich!

4. Spike and Captain Jack snogging and fighting is pretty hot.

5. In case of emergency, do not call an Olsen twin.

Happy Monday!

1. Hello Casper & Cheyenne!

2. Fettucine AND Swordfish? Two of my favorite things.

3. The over/under on the length of the National Anthem will be 1:24. Bet accordingly.

4. That was something, eh? Spike and Cap'n Jack will kiss anyone. And Jack asking Ianto on the date, awwww...

5. Do they take calls in rehab?

Hey Redbeard!

That really is a great pasta dish, and easy too. BTW, we cut the red pepper in half, because of the kiddos, and it was more than enough. I also cut back a bit on the salt too, and will use a little less olive oil when I make it again.

And did you catch the line where Spike, er, I mean Capt. John saw the poodle and got turned on. Classic!

Loved all the great lines:

//Excuse me, have you seen a blowfish driving a sportscar?

Hey kids, did ya miss me?//

Now I've got to know more about Gray. And what he did with the Doctor for who knows how long. What a cliffhanger...

You did see the end of the last series of "Doctor Who," right? That explains where Jack was.

As for Gray ....I'm pretty dang curious too!

I'm just getting started with season 3, I haven't seen the DVDs yet. I'm watching them in line with the BBC America broadcasts.

Jack shows up towards the end of the season. It's good.

You're very patient! I watched it last summer on Sci-Fi and then got the DVDs for Christmas and am working my way through the commentaries and such.

I'm as tenacious as a really tenacious person. I didn't know it was on Sci-Fi Channel actually, are they on season 4 already?

No. Season 4 starts airing in the U.K. in March or April, and then we'll probably get in on Sci-Fi in July or August.

I did watch the 07 Who Christmas special on YouTube though...we'll probably get that here in the summer too, right before they air Season 4.

Now with the BBC's iplayer online, you can watch the current shows up to one week after it's aired. so you can go to bbc.co.uk/iplayer and watch next week's Torchwood now, and epi 3 after wednesday. The same should be true when Doctor Who season 4 airs.

Were you able to make this work? I tried and got messages telling me you had to be in the U.K. to view the content.

I haven't tried it, it might be true. Damn licence fees, probably because we don't pay for it. At least Torchwood and Graham Norton show are only a couple of weeks behind original BBC airing. The rest are sometimes years behind. It's hard being a Yank.

I'm just gonna go hit my head against the wall. I get three channels on my television--five if there's a snowstorm, for some reason--and none of them have Doctor Who.

I am SO very much gonna try that pasta dish. Looks delicious AND meets my guidelines for length and complexity of directions. Did you put cheese on it, or no cheese necessary?

Don't forget the crunchy topping!

I put a little parm on it for my first helping, but honestly it really wasn't necessary.

Crunchy topping? Sprinkles? Why, of course!
