The (I'm assuming) first series started airing here two weeks ago on BBC America. I love it--and so nice when they start airing anything comedy other than "Coupling," which I love, buy c'mon...enough already.
I suppose I should be glad they finally stopped repeating "Ab Fab" over and over though...
BTW, does anyone have any idea why BBC America is airing the American version of "Dancing With the Stars" about 4 times a week? Couldn't they at least be showing the UK version?
Yeah Lois, it's the first season which was originally broadcast last year. (I looked it up on the wiki.) I'm with you, I can't stand Coupling. Ab Fab is great but it's so old.
Yeah, what is with BBC America playing "Dancing with the Stars"? You'd think they'd play "Strictly Come Dancing" instead, but it seems that the network execs think they need to dumb it down for the Merkuns (hence the ridiculous announcements that suggest we use closed captioning, oi that gets on my nerves).
But yeah, I'm with you, I search out the new comedies they play every once in a great while (Little Britain - seen the rest on DVD, Catherine Tate, etc., even though in the UK they are done with these series). I wished they had more chat shows, the only one they show is Graham Norton, and the last few episodes have been reruns from last year.
Oh yeah. Love Little Britian and Graham Norton. Catherine Tate is okay in small doses, although I think she'll be a fun companion for the Doctor in the next series.
Oh and good news, I think I've successfully got the missus hooked on Doctor Who. David is just ok to her, but she thinks Freema is really pretty, as do I. She can't wait to find out the second half of Daleks in Manhattan. I'm trying to turn her on to Torchwood as well.

You've got Numberwang.
Now time to turn the board around.
HA! I love it.
OHh, you guys get Mitchell and Webb!! Brilliant.
New series here starts this week.
Erm... unless you just found it on Youtube and happened to like it... I hope it's the former.
